Analisadaily.com, Medan - Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) held an exhibition and customer appreciation night at the Regale International Convention, Medan City, North Sumatra (North Sumatra), Thursday (16/6).

With its official distributor, PT Gaya Makmur Tractors (GMT), XCMG held this event to give appreciation to loyal customers and introduce XCMG products directly.

Cahyadi, director of PT Gaya Makmur Tractors, said at a press meeting that the event aimed to help people in Medan become more familiar with XCMG products.

“XCMG is the largest company in China and the 3rd largest in the world for heavy equipment products. "Many people don't know, so by holding this event, more people will know," he said.

He explained that these products are much cheaper than those from America to Japan. This, of course, makes development costs more economical.

"Currently, many people use heavy equipment products made in China, especially XCMG, and know its advantages," he explained.

Holding an appreciation night is also a form of thanks to loyal customers. Moreover, there are many customers in Medan City, especially those in plantations and road construction.

"In the city of Medan, we have been present since 2011 by establishing a showroom on Jalan Sisingamangaraja Medan with an area of 9,000 square meters," he said.

He revealed that sales in Medan City are also quite good and always increase yearly. Like this year, it rose significantly, up to 50 percent compared to last year.

“XCMG is the most complete heavy equipment in the world because what is available in products from other countries, namely Japan and Europe, is available in XCMG. "But on the other hand, those at XCMG are not in that country," he said.

XCMG's Asia Pacific Director, Ma Zhongyi, explained that XCMG is the largest company in China, number 3 in the world's heavy equipment industry, founded in 1943.

"XCMG is more or less 80 years old and started entering the Indonesian market in 1992 or more than 30 years ago," he explained.

His party has also collaborated with strong distributors in Indonesia, one of which is PT Gaya Makmur Tractors, the largest distributor in Indonesia.

"XCMG and GMT have been working together for almost 20 years; you could say they have been working together from the first generation to the second generation," he explained.

Currently, XCMG has also opened a company group in Indonesia called XCMG Group Indonesia.

"We have a warehouse measuring 20 thousand square meters to display all XCMG products, and we have a service center office measuring 1,000 square meters, which currently exists in Indonesia," he said.

XCMG contributed to the Indonesian market and, of course, supported distributors in further development.

“XCMG always tries to contribute to Indonesia and supports our distributors as they grow. "Moreover, it could be said that the relationship between China and Indonesia is very good," he said.
