XCMG Strengthens Indonesia's Heavy Equipment and New Energy Ecosystem at Mining Indonesia 2026

Jakarta, September 9–12, 2026 — XCMG Group Indonesia strengthened its presence in Indonesia’s mining and construction sectors through its participation in Mining Indonesia 2026, held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. Under the theme “New Power, New Future,” XCMG showcased a range of electrified heavy equipment and new energy solutions while officially launching ABC Multifinance as an integrated financing platform under the XCMG-GMT ecosystem.

During the four-day exhibition, XCMG showcased several flagship products, including the XCMG XGE150 Pro, XCMG XT490 DT 8x4 EV (electric dump truck), XCMG XT150CD, XCMG XE215EV (electric excavator), and XCMG XCT80 crane, along with several other models from its electrified and new energy equipment portfolio. This product lineup underscored XCMG’s focus on electrification and intelligent industrial technologies to meet the mining and construction sectors’ demand for more efficient, lower-emission solutions.

The event also marked the official debut of ABC Multifinance, a heavy equipment financing platform that completes the final link in XCMG’s ecosystem in Indonesia. The platform complements the company’s established capabilities across research and development (R&D), manufacturing, supply, sales, and after-sales services.

Kong Qing Chao, President Director of XCMG Group Indonesia, attended the event alongside Rahmansyah, President Director of PT Gaya Makmur Tractors (GMT), and Frankie Makaminang, President Director of Gaya Makmur Mobile (GMM). Kong emphasized that the launch of ABC Multifinance represents a key strategic step in further strengthening XCMG’s presence in Indonesia.

“For more than 30 years, our guiding principle has been ‘Rooted in Indonesia, Serving Indonesia.’ The year 2026 marks an important milestone for us. We aim to leverage the synergies between Chinese manufacturing capabilities and local financing to support Indonesia’s industrial transformation toward a greener, lower-carbon future,” said Kong Qing Chao.

This initiative is further supported by XCMG Indonesia’s new energy manufacturing facility, which was completed and commenced operations in 2026, as well as the official inauguration of the XCMG Indonesia R&D Center, which focuses on developing products tailored to local operating conditions. Throughout the exhibition, XCMG also signed several strategic cooperation agreements with financial institutions and heavy equipment purchase contracts with industrial customers, marking concrete steps toward expanding its integrated green solutions across Indonesia.

By strengthening its integrated ecosystem across manufacturing, R&D, services, and now financing, XCMG reaffirms its commitment to supporting Indonesia’s mining and construction industries in accelerating their transition toward a greener and more efficient future.
